AIU provisionally suspends Samba-Mayela and Rajabov
Two separate cases posted by the AIU, one for missed-test paperwork and one listing three substances.
The Athletics Integrity Unit has provisionally suspended Cyrena Samba-Mayela of France for whereabouts failures. That is the missed-test rule, where athletes in the testing pool have to keep the authorities updated on where they can be found so testers can turn up unannounced.

In a separate post, the AIU said it has provisionally suspended Doston Rajabov of Uzbekistan for presence and use of a prohibited substance. The AIU lists a DCHMT metabolite, a drostanolone metabolite, and octodrine and metabolite.

What provisional actually means
A provisional suspension is the start of a case, not the end of one. The athlete is out of competition while the case runs, and the AIU has not announced a finding or a sanction against either athlete. Neither post says anything beyond the charge, and neither athlete has responded in the sources here.
The two cases are also very different in kind. A whereabouts case is about the filing and availability rules, not about anything found in a sample. The AIU's post on Samba-Mayela says only whereabouts failures. The post on Rajabov is the one that names substances, three of them, in a single line.
What it changes
Not much yet, and that is the point. The AIU posts these notices as they happen, so the headline arrives long before any resolution. Until the AIU publishes an outcome, all that is on the record is that both athletes are provisionally suspended and that the cases are open.
The AIU pointed to its own case files for the details on both. Anything past that, including how long either case takes or what either athlete says in response, is not in the record right now.
